TEACHING EXPERIENCE:

In addition to the formal resume, I have instructed at high school and college level when in law school for a pilot program called Street Law. We went into the classroom and gave the students an idea of their legal rights and responsibilities as young adults. I taught evidence and Constitutional law classes to Military Police and Valal Investigative Service agents in my capacity as Special Assistant U.S. Attorney while in Hawaii. The U.S. Coast Guard has recently contacted me to lecture their drug interdiction teams on Search and Seizure law. I am also a State certified instructor for the North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement Training Program (BLET) located in Morehead City, NC. For the BLET program I instructed the Police Officer trainees in Constitutional Law and North Carolina General Criminal Statutes. During the years of 1994 and 1995 I substituted for instructors at Carteret and Coastal Community Colleges. From early 1994 until the spring of 1996 I was employed as a part-time instructor in the Paralegal Program at Carteret Community College. I taught classes in the Paralegal Program to include Evidence, Business Law, and Constitutional Law. From mid-1995 through the present, I have been an instructor for Park College at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC. For Park College I have been teaching Business Law I and II, and Constitutional Law.
